Project Task: Choose a genre of music that you are not familiar with and promote a hypothetical band named Reg Perfect and the Squeegees playing that type of music.
I chose Blues, which is quite the opposite to the usual R & B I listen to! This was because I had never discovered the beauty of that genre before, so I took the bull by the horns and dived into my research. The information I had gathered informed me that Blues music was created in the great depression in south America. African American people used it to soothe the pain of poverty and as a form of entertainment to lift their spirits in the hardship.
I prescribed a musical solution to the 21st century depression, listen to the Blues musical band Reg Perfect and the Squeegees, to soothe the worries away!
